About the Giant Word Series: All letters have different weights, slopes and widths to name a few of the variances. All SGS Giants Words and Letters use the same measurement calculations, points (pt). A desktop publishing point is measured approximately with 72 points being one inch (2.54cm). Thus making the smallest Giant Word or Letter 4 inches (10cm) in size or by formatting just under 284pt. All Giant Words and Letters stick to the point scale listed below so they can be paired and used together if desired. Many people mix and match sizes and fonts in our collection to create an attractive collage effect in addition to uniformity. The options are there and it's a lot of fun.
